THE STORY OF PSYCHOLOGY AI
Where human understanding meets intelligent support.
ROOTED IN REAL COMMUNITY — NOT IN THEORY
Psychology AI didn't begin with code, algorithms, or a business plan. It began in Edinburgh's community halls, where people sat together and spoke openly about their emotional, psychological, and personal struggles.
For over a decade, Andrew served as a Managing Director for one of Edinburgh's most respected charitable organisations. During this time, the organisation expanded into a thriving support centre offering:
- psychological and psychotherapeutic services
- mental-health consultations for adults, youth, and families
- personal development and resilience workshops
- psychiatric and neurospeech-therapy support
- online and in-person sessions
- support groups and educational programmes
- initiatives promoting cultural and social integration
Through partnerships with the NHS, Edinburgh Council, and local community leaders, Andrew helped shape impactful strategies that strengthened families and uplifted entire communities.
This experience changed him.
Year after year, he met people who felt lost, overwhelmed, or unheard — not because they lacked strength, but because they lacked accessible guidance and someone who genuinely listened.
And he realised something profound:
People don't just need services.
They need understanding — without stigma, without barriers.
Especially young people.
This insight planted the first seed for Psychology AI.
WHEN TECHNOLOGY MET HUMANITY
While helping the charity grow, Andrew also built a career in the automotive and advanced manufacturing sectors — fields known for precision, innovation, and fast-paced environments.
His passion for engineering led him to roles at BMW and later Jaguar Land Rover, where he worked across:
- production and quality control
- vehicle testing and new model launches
- robotics, automation, and precision engineering
- team leadership, management and workforce development
Across workshops and factory floors, he saw something universal: Behind every machine, every process, every target — there is a person.
A person who deals with:
- pressure
- self-belief
- teamwork dynamics
- performance expectations
- resilience and emotional balance
Whether in a counselling session or in a production line briefing, the human challenges were the same.
THE MOMENT EVERYTHING CONNECTED
Community work revealed the emotional struggles people carry.
Engineering leadership highlighted how essential mental well-being is to personal and organisational success.
At the intersection of these two worlds, a life-changing realisation emerged:
If people can understand themselves better,
they can grow stronger, perform better, and live with greater clarity and purpose.
From this belief, Andrew founded Psychology AI — a platform built to bring human-centred emotional support to anyone, anywhere.
A VISION BUILT THROUGH SERVICE
Andrew's journey — from community volunteer to award-winning leader and engineering professional — has always centred on one mission:
Help people feel supported, understood, and empowered.
Psychology AI continues that mission on a global scale.
It exists because Andrew believes deeply that:
Every mind deserves understanding.
Every person deserves support.
And everyone has the potential to grow.
